Natalie and Grant welcomed 150 of their loved ones for an Italian-inspired Chicago wedding at Cuneo Mansion and Gardens, a celebration with grandeur and unforgettable beauty. From the beginning, we knew this wedding at Cuneo Mansion needed to blend the opulence of Versailles, the warmth of British hospitality, and the decadence of a gold-drenched design.
As full-service wedding planners, creating celebrations that feel both grand and deeply welcoming is central to our approach. Natalie’s vision was clear: regal, decadent, elevated, and opulent. With that in mind, we leaned into a design rooted in European elegance.
Following a traditional off-site ceremony, guests arrived at Cuneo Mansion and Gardens for the evening’s festivities. Natalie wanted the cocktail hour to feel like a refined garden party, where guests felt like they were stepping into the Palace of Versailles. To complement Natalie’s luminous presence in her Mira Couture gown, we designed a reception that felt radiant and richly opulent. Golden tones, layered details, and a sense of abundance shaped the evening. As the night unfolded, guests danced beneath the glow of the reception with go-go dancers adding a joyful spectacle that carried the celebration through to the very last song.
This iconic venue provided the perfect backdrop for a Chicago wedding of such scale and beauty. Known for its historic grandeur and even recognized as a filming location for My Best Friend’s Wedding, Cuneo Mansion is a masterpiece of old-world style, filled with neoclassical statuary, Venetian-inspired architecture, and burnished gold details at every turn.
