Cherished moments of beauty in a story that is uniquely yours
A key design concept for us, as wedding planners, is to imbue your celebrations with the beauty of history, setting your joy in the here and now against centuries-worth of beauty, heritage, and history.
That’s why we love to plan and curate exclusive luxury destination weddings across the UK, as well as in Chicago.
“Imagining our own lives, set centuries ago - it has a special kind of enchantment. As fans of Period dramas like Bridgerton and The Crown, we adore Regency era aesthetics. Somehow this look has its own code: representing the finest possible taste, exquisite beauty, opulent indulgence, and courtly romance, all rooted in centuries of history.”
From the soft sandstones of the Cotswolds to London’s stoney imperialism to the wilds of rugged Scotland and beyond, the historic country estates, the UK’s imposing castles and heritage architecture are a profound source of inspiration, steeped as they are in centuries of living. Cultures change, fashions change, styles change - and the best British venues weave this rich historical tapestry together to create spaces which are richly detailed and tactile, romantic and inspiring.
We plan beautiful events in historic estates across the UK, from castles to country houses.
As Planners we prioritise venues of historical significance and architectural impact, matching your style and preferences to the perfect venue choice. From Sennowe Park in Norfolk to Somerley House in Hampshire, and beyond to the Cotswolds, Yorkshire, Wales and Scotland, we love to find the perfect venue to carry on the love story of your wedding day.
K & K Celebrates weddings are characterised by romance, beauty and history. We create luxury weekend UK destination weddings which earn their own place within the historical tapestries and centuries-old stories that the UK’s historic venues have to tell.
Destination UK Wedding FAQs

There are many legalities involved in marrying in the UK, particularly as a non-UK resident. Whether in England or Scotland, we are on top of all of the legal processes you’ll have to undertake to make sure your wedding is legally binding and fits all the UK protocols it must adhere to.
If you don’t have that timeline, never fear, but do be aware that the level of popularity through this period will likely leave you with fewer options to choose from.
-
Absolutely we will! We work both as destination planners and as planner for UK couples. Our expertise stretches right across the pond to the UK venues we know and love, and we’d love to plan your UK event.
-
UK “Wedding season” lasts from May to September, with the busiest months being June, July and August, although more and more couples are choosing to forego the chance of sun for cosier, cooler times in the year. To have the best chance of getting your first choice venues and top-tier vendors, we make bookings 12-18 months in advance. Don’t worry if you’re operating on a shorter timeline, but know that you may have fewer options to choose from.

There are rules and regulations all around the world, and we are used to thoroughly researching the specificity of our venues’ specific location. Scotland has different procedures to England, for example. From noise limits to religious ceremony specifications, rules on alcohol and restrictions to preserve historic buildings, we’re used to the idiosyncrasies that beautiful venues usually throw at us. We’re also well-versed in UK wedding legislation, so never fear, we’ve got everything in hand to make sure your celebrations go effortlessly.
-
This is all part of the planning process. Whilst incredible venues can be rurally situated, we will always point you to the easiest access routes for whatever you and your guests need, be that airports, train stations, roads or taxis.
We often encourage our clients to arrange transportation for guests and the wedding party if the venue can’t accommodate guests overnight and is far away from local accommodation options, due to the potential difficulties of finding taxis or public transport in remote areas.
-
Your wedding day logistics can be drastically affected by large-scale, city-wide events, especially in cities like London. We always cross-reference your suggested date with the city's major event calendar and any local or national celebrations, to ensure we can work around any restrictions we’re likely to face.
-
Many vendors have a preferred vendor list, which becomes part of the choice when choosing your venue.
We always vet vendors for our couples, as we hold the ultimate responsibility for you having a good experience.
We’re happy to consider your vendor suggestions, but the preferred vendors from our ‘little black book’ - the ones we know, and trust to deliver efficiently, beautifully, and at the highest standard - are always the ones we’ll recommend first. We have to ensure we feel confident in selecting the right vendors for our couples based on their needs, and how well aligned they are with the event vision.
