I hired K+K Celebrates for day of coordination for my June wedding and Kim and Kristie could not have been more incredible to work with. They came to my walk-through and helped manage a team of 12+ vendors with ease and grace. They had helpful advice, quick responses, and a positive attitude throughout the entire process, and were always open to answering any questions I had about the planning process. My mom, sister and husband felt the same way as me-from start to finish, they helped make our day run so smoothly and efficiently while keeping a calm yet energetic manner. Leading up to the wedding they shared a google doc with me that clearly stated everything from timeline to tasks to responsibilities of each vendor, etc. and I really appreciated the way they handled communications with all my vendors. I had serious anxiety about planning the details for the day of and dealing with all the vendors. Kim and Kristie stepped in and handled all the annoying details for the month of. They made sure all the vendors knew where to be and ensured the day went off smoothly. They scheduled the day down to the minute but never made you feel rushed or like you were on a timeline. "I actually met Kim and Kristie in Design school. We lost touch after we graduated, but that is the amazing thing about social media. It keeps you connected with people even if you don’t see or talk to them all of the time. We knew that a full on wedding planner was not in our budget. I was pretty on top of things when it came to wedding planning. I was very organized and knew what I wanted. Day of wedding coordinators were the perfect solution for us.
Kim and Kristie communicated with our vendors about the day of and helped coordinate the schedule. While one sister was with the ladies getting ready, the other could check on the men. "I cannot say enough good things about Kristie and Kim! I don’t know what we would have done without them. We got married at the Garfield Park Conservatory outside in August, and it was truly the perfect day. We had always wanted our wedding party and parents to be able to enjoy the day and not worry about talking to vendors, or keeping people on schedule and they nailed it.
They always had perfect timing and knew when to be in the background and when to get my attention and keep things moving . Everything was taken care of, and set up exactly the way we had asked. We got great feedback from our wedding party that Kristie and Kim were hustling, but as the bride and groom, we didn’t notice, which I think is exactly what you hope for throughout the day!
