Jenna came to us with a vision of refined black and white elegance. We have always been drawn to the grace of a monochromatic wedding design. It was the perfect starting point for a wedding that felt sophisticated, dramatic, and timeless.
To bring that vision to life, we guided her toward spaces that would complement and elevate the overall design. Their ceremony took place at the Lincoln Park Honeycomb, one of the most distinctive wedding venues in Chicago. Nestled within Lincoln Park, the Honeycomb offers a beautiful balance of city and nature. Its soaring geometric wooden structure creates intimacy within the open air, while the surrounding landscape and skyline frame the moment with a sense of modern grandeur.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to Cafe Brauer while sipping a blackberry and thyme-infused champagne cocktail, one of the many thoughtful details executed throughout their day. For the reception, Cafe Brauer’s Great Hall offered the perfect contrast to the ceremony setting. We are always drawn to weddings at Cafe Brauer because of the venue’s historic character and timeless sense of grandeur. With its soaring ceilings and light-filled windows, the space feels perfect for a timeless Chicago wedding.
Jenna and Taylor’s vision came to life throughout the evening. The richness of velvet-soft white blooms and clouds of baby’s breath contrasted with dark and shimmering luxury linen and delicate bows, grounding the space's grandeur in the luxury of delicate, intimate detailing - impeccable food, sophisticated layering, and a little dash of shimmer!
