An Elegant and Monocrhomatic Wedding in Chicago

We love to create timeless aesthetics which will never date, but continue to look effortlessly glamorous over years to come.

Our beautiful bride Jenna came to us with a vision of monochromatic elegance. We adore the filmic grace of black and white - dramatic and timeless, yet modern.

We chose spaces grounded in context which work beautifully with refined, pared-back schemes - the Honeycomb for the ceremony and Cafe Brauer's Great Hall for the reception.

The Honeycomb perfectly balances city and nature. Its open geometric wooden form soars over guests, bringing a sense of intimacy to this open, natural space, framing the drama of the cityscape beyond.

Guests walking through the hum of bees and swaying flowers, guests arrived in this warm, welcoming space as Jenna and Taylor were wed amongst an abundance of florals.

A blackberry and thyme-infused champagne cocktail continued the lush natural abundance which permeated the ceremony, as guests strolled back to the Cafe Brauer for cocktail hour.

We adore the warm brick and generous proportions of the Cafe Brauer's Great Hall, an historic space of timeless grandeur. Its soaring rooflit ceilings and curved walls peppered with windows make it at once statuesque and welcoming, grand and intimate.

Here Jenna and Taylor combined elegance and beauty with intimate, heartfelt moments as the evening progressed. The richness of velvet-soft white blooms and clouds of baby’s breath contrasted with dark and shimmering luxury linen and delicate bows, grounding the space's grandeur in the luxury of delicate, intimate detailing - impeccable food, sophisticated layering, and a little dash of shimmer!

Guests danced on into a twinkling candlelight characterized by profound joy, timeless beauty, and an intimate welcome.
